School Start Fart Art

A Photo Journal
Friday August 30, 2013
So this last week I started my senior year of highschool, it doesn't feel lallt hat different. Except perhaps how hard they try to make it feel different by adding events like the senior sunrise. I think I enjoyed the event but for different reasons than most because i only had one of my friends there. I just have genuinely wanted to watch the sunrise for quite some time and though I can see it while getting ready for school it was nice to be able to sit at my schools football feild (which has an excellent skyline) and just watch.

I discovered while leaving that someone had decided to pull a clever prank and a) draw this penis and b) write senior over all the staff parking spaces. I actually have no idea how i feel about it cos everyone can tell who did it and i actually really respect the guys graffiti skills. Maybe he's just misdirecting them.

uh this is just me sitting in my friends car.

Then! on Sunday! I went to the San Francisco ZineFest and lost my mind and all my money. I think it ended p in the pockets of some pretty rad zinesters so its all good. Maybe later I'll make a post with all the cool things i bought.

then we walked around San Fran a bit and ran into this shop.

i love sunflowers more than anything else on this planet

woohoo! good weekend good life cool things!

2013 feminists reads!!

good morning friends and welcome to this post

earlier this morning i was checking out my goodreads when an event came to my attention. its called the 2013 feminists reads challenge hosted by sara, thehidingspot on blogspot. essentially the challenge dares me to read up to 10+ books, based on what level of difficulty i choose, that displays feminist ideals or has a leading feminist character. this could be a self sufficient female, a character who defends the rights of others, a brave female character, ect. im choosing medium but hopefully i can read more. that means that throughout 2013 ill be reading somewhere between 5-10 feminist books and posting my thoughts about them here. I don't know what they'll be yet but sara posted this helpful link to give some ideas.

so i hope youll chill out with me and some literary feminists and maybe even join the challenge yourself! be sure to check out the link for the full explanation and ill catchya on the flipside

yesterday i relearned how to ride a bike! turns out the saying is a lie! me and some of my friends went out to the park and rode around for about 5 or 6 hours. theres this gem of me waiting for someone to get a bike pump

later i became a burger monarch

today i went back to that park with my parents for a little while and i was walking around i found this sign which i sadly did not take home with me

i did however go into kmart and see this significantly demonic dog and bought these valentines and a hello kitty ribbon
